Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every enquiry, booking and service arranged through vootholidays.com ("VootHolidays", "we", "us"). By confirming a booking with us you agree to them.

1. Our role

VootHolidays books flight tickets and arranges holidays: hotels, transport, sightseeing and visa help. These services are delivered by independent suppliers. We choose suppliers with care, but each supplier's own terms also apply to the service they provide.

2. Quotes and itineraries

• Quotes are valid for the period stated on them and depend on availability at the time of booking.
• Prices can change before full payment because of supplier rates, taxes, fuel surcharges or currency changes.
• Hotel names in an itinerary are confirmed only after booking; a similar hotel may be offered if one is unavailable.

3. Booking and payment

• A booking is confirmed once we receive the advance amount stated in your quote and send written confirmation.
• The balance is due before the date shown in your quote, usually before travel starts.
• If payment is not received on time we may cancel the booking and apply the cancellation charges below.

4. Flight tickets

• Fares we quote are what the airline shows at that moment. Airlines change fares often, so a fare is held only once the ticket is issued.
• Every ticket follows the airline's fare rules for baggage, seat selection, date changes, name changes and refunds. We share the key rules with your quote.
• Names must match the passport or government ID exactly. Airlines may charge, or refuse, corrections.
• Schedule changes, delays and cancellations are decided by the airline. We help you rebook or claim what the airline offers.

5. Cancellations and changes by you

Cancellations must be sent to us in writing. Charges depend on how close to departure you cancel and on each supplier's policy; the exact charges are listed in your quote. Peak-season dates, flights and some hotels may be non-refundable. Changes to dates or names may carry supplier fees.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method after deducting cancellation charges and any amounts that suppliers do not return. We process refunds as soon as suppliers release the money.

7. Changes by us or suppliers

Weather, road closures, strikes, government orders or other events outside our control can force changes. We will offer the best available alternative. We are not liable for extra costs caused by such events, though we will help you claim what is recoverable from suppliers or insurers.

8. Travel documents

You are responsible for valid passports, visas, permits, ID and health requirements. We can help with visa applications, but approval is decided only by the relevant authority.

9. Your responsibilities

Please share accurate traveller details, follow local laws and hotel rules, and look after your belongings. We strongly recommend travel insurance for every trip.

10. Liability

Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service. We are not liable for indirect losses or for acts and omissions of independent suppliers.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
